I’m not sure if I’m looking for a CRM or for some other type of database. Essentially, my business must keep track of multiple projects per client. Specifically, we need to be able to keep a compliance database. What I want to be able to do is filter the projects by expiration or deadline, but a client may have one project that expires this month and another project that expires in three months. I need to be able to keep track of those. For example, one client may need to renew its business license by the end of the month, and then it also needs to be alerted again to renew its LLC registration when it expires in three months, and its trademark registration in 9 months.
Most apps I’ve seen are really set up for one project per client. The closest I’ve come to solving this problem is monday.com which allows for subitems. So I can keep all of the contact information as an “item” and make subitems for each project I need to keep track of.
HOWEVER, the problem is that subitems are in beta with monday.com and there’s no good way to filter and view by subitem.
I would like to not duplicate client information, but I feel like it’s the only way to do this.
