I’ve been working at this company for years and aside from handling the graphic design, I’m also tasked with Social Media Management, PR, communications, etc. We’re only ten in the company so sometimes tasks overlap and I work under the CEO directly.

My problem is, I’ve been using the wrong brand font (which was not used for trademark) for one of our services for a year already and I just realized it till now. Instead of the bold type of the brand font, I’ve been using a much stronger type of the brand font, but they are in the same family.

Everything I create is being approved by the CEO. He never noticed it the difference, maybe because we were closed for 3 years because of the pandemic.

It’s lenient here but I’m afraid I might lose my job because of this.

What should I do?

Thank you to those who will answer!
