Hey all,

I just joined this Reddit thread to pick your brains on client acquisition; I also posted this on r/Bookkeeping

I work in marketing for a small tax firm, and my boss recently decided to start a separate company to handle bookkeeping.

He wants me to generate new business for the bookkeeping company, and I have tried a few avenues with little success.

I have mainly used social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn). I started Google Ads last month, and we have a sales rep who follows up on the leads. So far, she has only closed one lead, and I’d like to know if I am approaching this incorrectly.

What are some ways you all suggest for getting clients? Is there an avenue that I should try?

Any help would be appreciated.
