1. What inspired you
to write this book?

I woke up early one
morning after having a strange dream. I got up and wrote it down. Later that
day when I read what I wrote down, I decided to create a story with it.

2.
What exactly is it about and who is it written for?

It’s about a fictional
character that lives on a hidden planet that no one knows about and grants
wishes for all of mankind on planet earth. The story takes everyone on an
adventure of how the wishes are granted and why sometimes it takes a little
longer to come true. I wrote it during a pandemic, I was hoping to bring
together such a divided audience and help everyone see there is hope and we can
still come together, no matter what we are all experiencing.

3. What do you hope
readers will get out of reading your book?

I hope it takes them
on a fun adventure and gives them hope and helps them not to give up on their
dreams.

4. How did you decide
on your book’s title and cover design?

The name came to me in
the dream, I created an illustration of a magical character that my prev
publisher created for the cover. I am currently working with another
publisher who seemed to capture more of what I had envisioned.

5. What advice or
words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers – other than run!
?

It’s a learning
process, be choosy and research who you like to work with, not all publishers
are who they seem to be. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, this is your
creation.

6. What trends in the
book world do you see — and where do you think the book publishing industry is
heading?

Well, it seems that an
ordinary phone call is obsolete anymore. I still think hearing someone’s voice
is a pleasure. Most everyone seems to prefer everything electronic and audio
books are preferred. Everything can be downloaded or seen on U-Tube.

7. Were there
experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when
writing this book?

My grandma had written
some short poems and stories that I still have. She had a great sense of humor!
After my husband passed, it was helpful for me to write things down.

8. How would you
describe your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to?

I like to create
something that keeps the audience involved in the story and participates with
it. I am not sure who my writing is similar to, I am not that experienced as a
writer and would not want to agenda anyone by comparing myself to them.
It’s more of a hobby to me and I enjoy doing it.

9. What challenges did
you overcome in the writing of this book?

I live on the West
Coast and my publisher is on the East Coast so the time difference can be
challenging at times.

10. If people can buy
or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours?

It’s a fun family
adventure that everyone can spend time together and enjoy.
