1. What inspired you to write this book?  1. The world faces apocalypse. 2. The
essence of Christ’s Way needs to be rescued from Christianity’s imprisonment in
colonial paradigms. 3. This relates Christ’s Way to ‘post-modern’ people of all
major religions and nationalities.
 

2. What exactly is it about and who
is it written for?
 
A Way of Life: Three Life-giving Principles and Ten Waymarks. Any searching,
serious person who reaches beyond mere materialism. 
 

3. What do you hope readers will get out
of reading your book?
  A life-line, a
rhythm, a purpose, a fellowship. 
 

4. How did you decide on your
book’s title and cover design?
The
Way of Life already is published in 9 world languages. I read that a reason why
Benedictinism survived through the 2nd millennium was that its
founder wrote a detailed commentary on its way of life.  Cover:  a
world (the globe) a Celtic Cross (Celtic saints are a source of inspiration)
and light dawning is also a metaphor. 
 

5. What advice or words of wisdom do you have
for fellow writers – other than run!?
  Stick to the deepest inspiration or stop writing.  

6. What trends in the book world do you see —
and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading?
  Fragmenting. Ephemeral. But there’s a
slot for hope, soul surgery. and civilization. 
 

7. Were there experiences in
your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this
book? 
Conversion to
Christ.  The song ‘The world walked into my heart’.  Recovering the
lost art of listening for nations. 
 

8. How would you describe
your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to?
Succinct.  Personal linked to global.
Spiritual linked to real politic.

Marketplace. Following London University, ordination into the Christian
Ministry, curacies in industrial English Midlands and multi-racial Tooting I
was appointed the founding pioneer minister of one church (sponsored by six
