I have a call with Google on Wednesday but I am wondering if I am doing things correctly. Currently I check every few weeks overall on our systems ads. They are across canada but each add group covers a specific area so I can very quickly tell if there is a suspect search. that exact search word for word will show up across many different ad campaigns and it will have an amazing click through rate.

These searches have been decimating my budget and I can only really catch them after they have done some damage. Then what I do is set that search as a negative phrase. It seems to work but then a month later there is a new one.

I have been running ads for probably 5 years without this issue but now its popping up constantly everywhere. Is what I am doing correct? Any why now? Is Googles bot finding algorithm failing?
